Job Description
The City of Saratoga Springs currently has an opening for an Assistant Victim Advocate. This is a part-time position with the Saratoga Springs Police Department, working approximately twenty-nine hours per week. This position is under the supervision of the Victim Advocate. This position entails a variety of duties related to assisting victims of crime. These duties involve assisting victims with information regarding the criminal justice process, financial and legal assistance, emergency sheltering, and other duties as assigned. The Assistant Victim Advocate will also be required to assist the Victim Services Coordinator in recruiting, training, and managing the volunteer victim advocate team.

SALARY RANGE:

Minimum - $21.50/hr.
Midpoint - $25.80/hr.
Maximum - $30.10/hr.
