Now Hiring: Full-Time Delivery Driver / Shopper / Quality Control & Warehouse Manager

Location: Honeymoon Sweets European Bakery – Tempe, AZ

Honeymoon Sweets European Bakery is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented professional to join our team full-time in a multi-functional role that includes Delivery Driving, Shopping, Quality Control, and Warehouse Management.

This position is key to ensuring our products are handled and delivered with care, supplies are managed efficiently, and that everything we send out reflects the high standards our bakery is known for.

Located in Tempe, AZ, Honeymoon Sweets has been crafting premium European-style cakes, pastries, and desserts for over 28 years. We proudly serve the Valley’s top resorts, caterers, and restaurants. As we grow, we’re looking for someone who shares our dedication to quality, professionalism, and consistency.

What You’ll Do

Delivery Duties:

• Safely transport baked goods—including delicate cakes and desserts—to clients throughout the Valley
• Deliver wedding cakes on weekends with exceptional care and professionalism
• Follow scheduled routes and timelines to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and perform basic vehicle upkeep
• Pick up trays, returns, and supplies as needed

Shopping & Procurement:

• Shop for ingredients and packaging supplies from local stores and designated vendors
• Verify product quality and ensure accuracy with orders
• Communicate with team members about availability, substitutions, or changes
• Track receipts and manage purchasing within established budgets

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Organize and maintain storage areas for efficiency, cleanliness, and product rotation
• Receive, stock, and track deliveries and inventory
• Reduce waste through proper FIFO methods and stock oversight
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and supply zones

Quality Control:

• Confirm outgoing orders meet established standards for accuracy, labeling, and presentation
• Coordinate with bakery staff to uphold product integrity and freshness
• Ensure food safety handling during transport, including temperature control protocols (below 40°F)

• A dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented individual
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
• A professional and courteous demeanor with clients, vendors, and team members
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day
• Experience in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safe handling practices

Requirements

• Clean DMV driving record
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass E-Verify
• Weekend availability , especially for wedding cake deliveries
• Prior experience in delivery, inventory, or warehouse operations preferred
• Familiarity with bakery or food service operations is a plus
