Job Summary
Make a meaningful impact in your community—join Acentra Health as a Clinical Evaluator (PASRR) in Hutchinson, Kansas. In this hybrid role, you will conduct in-person preadmission evaluations and assessments throughout Hutchinson and its surrounding areas.
As a Clinical Evaluator, you will conduct face-to-face PASRR Level II assessments to determine appropriate placements and next levels of care for individuals with complex needs. You will be responsible for completing clinical evaluations for individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Related Conditions (RC), or geriatric populations across nursing homes, hospitals, and community-based settings These evaluations are crucial in determining the next level of care, improving patient well-being, and supporting better health outcomes.
This PRN hybrid role offers flexibility and purpose, combining remote work from your home office with local travel as needed. Travel expenses—including mileage and parking are covered and reimbursed by Acentra Health. In addition, Acentra provides all necessary technology equipment for your home office, including a laptop for use in the field.
Job Responsibilities
Required Qualifications and Experience
Graduation from an accredited college with a relevant degree program and minimum of 2 years of experience assessing individuals with mental health or psychiatric disorders, including complex differential diagnoses related to substance use, medical conditions, cognitive impairments, and dementia.
Basic knowledge of Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) requirements, including applicable federal regulations and state-specific rules, is a plus
Skilled in assessing and analyzing psychological, emotional, behavioral, and physical functioning, with basic knowledge of standards and best practices for determining Level of Care within mental health, geriatrics, and conditions commonly requiring long-term care placement.
Familiarity with public mental health and medical programs.

Compensation
The compensation for this role is $37.00 to $42.00 per hour
