**Responsibilities & Qualifications** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Edit and rewrite technical documents to correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and ensure adherence to internal and industry standards. + Proofread documentation and visual content to ensure accuracy and alignment with original materials. + Ensure quality control on documents received from word processing and reproduction sources. + Assemble master copies of documents, including the integration of graphics, appendices, tables of contents, and title pages. + Coordinate and assist with scheduling of printing and duplication of technical documents. + Track and log document versions and support document control activities. + Collaborate with technical staff to determine document formats, content structure, and organization for reports and deliverables. + Collect and organize source materials to support the development of user manuals, training guides, installation instructions, technical proposals, and reports. + Edit a wide range of deliverables including system specifications, functional descriptions, user documentation, and special reports. + Ensure all documentation supports cybersecurity-related processes and is aligned with organizational compliance and quality standards. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** **Experience:** + A minimum of 5 years of technical writing experience, including editing and producing documentation in a cybersecurity, IT, or systems engineering environment. + Proven ability to work with technical teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, readable content. + Experience developing a variety of technical documentation, including manuals, training materials, and formal reports. + Familiarity with documentation control processes and tools and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. **Certifications** + DoD 8570 IAM Level III Baseline Certification + **Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)** + **Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)** + **GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)** + **Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)** **Clearance:** Secret - IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation **Overview** We are seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Writer to join our team supporting DLA J6 Enterprise Sourcing, Medical and Contingency (ESMC) Hosting and Support.
