Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a highly responsible professional position that provides technical and administrative support by independently conducting research, analysis and investigations of insurance industry business practices to determine compliance with the Florida Insurance Code; and by providing recommendations and regulatory solutions to management.
• Utilize an extensive knowledge of business practices and market regulation procedures to collect and compile data from market analyst and independently analyze and interpret complex data to support the Agency's regulatory initiatives. Develop and independently maintain accurate databases of information collected, provide technical assistance to staff, and make recommendations to management regarding opening investigations.

The starting salary for this position is $50,000.04.
A work sample will be given; only applicants that pass the work sample will be interviewed.
Preference will be given to applicants with two or more years of proven work experience in the area of property and casualty insurance.
Employees of the Office of Insurance Regulation are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This is a non-remote on-site position located in Tallahassee, FL.
