Position: Logistics & Facilities Coordinator

Location: Enterprise , Utah

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: Starting annual salary $50,000

About the Role:

  • This role is responsible for managing the complete supply chain and logistical operations for the program, including procurement, inventory control, vendor negotiations, facilities maintenance, and risk management. The position ensures that all gear, food, and resources are available, safe, and appropriate for program activities while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with organizational standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of gear, food, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted program operations.
  • Oversee the ordering and purchasing of all gear, clothing, and food for students, staff, and support personnel.
  • Receive, inventory, and stock warehouse, maintaining inventory levels.
  • Establish and maintain inventory control policies to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
  • Ensure all gear, clothing, and food are appropriate for activities and seasonal conditions.
  • Negotiate and secure purchases at the most cost-effective prices while maintaining quality standards.
  • Accurately update and manage the organization’s inventory management system, generating reports for leadership decision-making.
  • Process requests for gear, clothing, and food; retrieve items from inventory; and coordinate timely delivery to students and staff.
  • Continuously evaluate gear, clothing, and food for quality and suitability, incorporating feedback from staff and participants.
  • Purchase and replace essential equipment as needed (e.g., handcarts, tents, stoves).
  • Analyze historical usage and forecast future needs for annual and seasonal inventory planning.
  • Oversee maintenance of office facilities and treatment program sites; coordinate repairs and services with contractors and vendors.
  • Oversee facility maintenance planning, coordinating services with contractors and ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
  • Actively participates in required meetings to stay informed of program needs and provide input that supports the overall effectiveness and success of program operations.
  • Collaborate with accounting, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Represent the organization professionally and ethically in all vendor and contractor interactions.
  • Assist with field-related activities when necessary, such as participating in intakes, graduations, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Maintain compliance for all program vehicles, including licensing and insurance requirements.
  • Participate in the Incident Management Committee and assist with incident follow-up as needed.
  • Create and enforce policies and procedures for warehouse security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Food Safety Manager Certification
  • CPR and First-Aid certified. 
  • Preferred education and experience
    • BS/BA in a related field or equivalent training and experience in a related field.
    • 2 years of purchasing and/or inventory management experience.
    • Current Wilderness First Responder certification. 
  • Communication
    • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with staff, vendors, and leadership.
    • Conveys and shares information clearly and concisely, ensuring mutual understanding.
