These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance. The Opportunity As part of the PwC Private team you are expected to participate in various phases of tax compliance engagements, including planning, execution, and completion. As an Associate you are expected to focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You are expected to research tax laws, rules, and regulations, analyze their application to specific situations, and draft memorandums to defend decisions or outline solutions. Responsibilities - Participate in various phases of tax compliance engagements - Research tax laws and regulations - Analyze application of tax laws to specific situations - Draft memorandums to outline solutions - Contribute to client engagement and projects - Develop skills and knowledge in tax compliance - Build meaningful client connections - Deliver quality work consistently What You Must Have - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Required Cumulative GPA: 3.0 - Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Korean and English. The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $132,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
