Job Overview:

We are seeking a CDL Driver to join a manufacturing facility in Albion, IN . This is a local, short-haul driving position. The driver will be responsible for loading/unloading trucks, auditing and securing loads, and ensuring safe, timely deliveries. You’ll be home daily, with the opportunity to make an impact in an essential role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locating and preparing staged axles for loading
  

• Assisting with order preparation, loading/unloading trucks
  

• Auditing loads to ensure accuracy and securing them to the trailer
  

• Planning efficient and economical routes
  

• Delivering products to various locations and picking up raw materials for production
  

• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
  

• Cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure it is in top working order
  

• Adhering to safety and security standards in all tasks
  

Requirements

• Required:
  

  • Class A CDL
    

  • 3+ years of experience driving flatbed trucks (preferred but not required)
    

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred (but not required)
    

• Preferred Skills:
  

  • Experience with flatbed truck operations
    

  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
