Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled
Cyberspace Readiness and Joint Training Specialist to support the full lifecycle of cyberspace readiness and joint training initiatives. This key personnel role involves analyzing mission requirements, developing and executing training plans, evaluating readiness, and proposing risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and cybersecurity, with proven experience in joint training systems and readiness assessments.
Key Responsibilities: - Support all phases of the Joint Training System , including:
- Mission analysis
- Development of training objectives and plans
- Execution, observation, and evaluation of training events
- Ongoing readiness assessments
- Analyze and evaluate readiness reports to ensure they provide meaningful indicators.
- Compile and interpret readiness data to support decision-making and risk governance.
- Propose cyberspace courses of action to mitigate mission risk, with a focus on pre-positioning the enterprise for readiness.
- Facilitate understanding of integrated cyber and critical mission requirements during constrained operations.
- Assist in preparing for joint training meetings and documenting after-action items.
- Provide lessons learned and track integrated actions to closure.
- Escalate unresolved issues to support integrated business risk governance.
- Utilize government-provided automated software tools in accordance with assigned suspense and staffing processes.
Minimum Qualifications: - Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance at time of proposal submission.
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level III approved baseline certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology (IT) or Cybersecurity (CS).
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of joint training systems and readiness assessment methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex mission requirements and translate them into actionable training plans.
- Experience with risk mitigation strategies in cyberspace operations.
- Familiarity with government staffing processes and automated tools.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting DoD or Joint Force training environments.
- Knowledge of integrated cyber operations and mission assurance.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with leadership and cross-functional teams.
